What ICA Sentinel Does

ICA Sentinel monitors opted-in AI chat sessions on supported AI websites and writes transcript snapshots to ICA Imperium's customer capture ledger. When live analysis is available and a session crosses the configured threshold, Sentinel displays an alert and allows the operator to save an incident record.

Supported AI surfaces include Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, Perplexity, Copilot, Meta AI, Character.AI, and Mistral.

User Consent And Site Access

ICA Sentinel does not request AI-site access at installation. The user must click Enable AI Capture in the extension popup or options page before Sentinel can read supported AI surfaces. Chrome then shows a host-access prompt. If the user does not grant that access, Sentinel cannot read AI-page content.

Data Collected

When configured and granted access, Sentinel may process:

Sentinel does not collect:

Where Data Goes

Transcript snapshots are sent only to ICA Imperium through the approved endpoint configured in Sentinel options. The Web Store-safe build allows this approved production endpoint:

Localhost may be used for developer testing in unpacked builds.

Optional live analysis, operator incident creation, and the Imperium discovery beacon also use the configured approved Imperium endpoint.

Sentinel does not sell, rent, or transfer user data to advertising networks, analytics providers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.

Storage

Sentinel stores settings and tokens in Chrome extension storage (chrome.storage.sync). The token is sent only as a bearer token to the configured approved backend. Capture ledger and incident records are stored by ICA Imperium, not by the extension itself.

Retention

Local extension settings remain until the user clears extension data or uninstalls Sentinel. Incident records stored on the configured backend follow that backend's retention policy.

User Controls

Users may:

Security

Sentinel uses HTTPS for production backend communication. The extension blocks arbitrary third-party backend URLs in the Web Store-safe build. Sentinel does not load remote executable code.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

The use of information received from Chrome APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Changes

If this policy materially changes, the updated policy will be published before a new extension version is submitted.
